Getting back on the air

Postby golddustpeak » Sun Apr 04, 2021 3:29 pm

I've not been on the air for some time and would like to get things going again.

I have a ANAN 100D and had version 3.2.25 in my PC before my PC crashed.

Now that I have to be reloading things I'm wondering just what to install.

Welcome back! Your best course would be to move to Thetis v2.8.11 which is the latest release. It's light-years ahead of the last PowerSDR mRX PS release which appears to be at end-of-life as far as any further development goes.

Thetis version 2.8.11 will work with either protocol 1 or protocol 2 and will automatically load the appropriate code for whatever firmware is loaded into your hardware. The download link is here:

https://github.com/TAPR/OpenHPSDR-Thetis/releases/tag/v2.8.11

The only decision to make is whether the 32-bit or 64-bit version is most appropriate for your operating system.

Good luck and 73,
