I chatted with Ed-NP2G for several minutes today on 40 meters. He was running his ANAN-8000DLE with Simon's SDR-Console V3. It sounds great and even without APD it looks very respectable in the panadapter.

My 200D is not yet able to run V3 as it locks up within a few seconds of starting. My guess is that the timing in the protocol 2 firmware is not quite compatible with my particular rig.

I have also run SDR Console, and I also suffer from unstable firmware, so I have put it on the back burner for now until there is more stable firmware available.
