Re: 2.6.9
Hello
Using (b4) When selecting (CTUNE) and then running the GUI in Collapse . I find no way to Turn CTUNE function off while in this collapse mode .
I see It can be turned off by going back to the Expanded display . Is this how it is suppose to work?

While I now have no doubt it does not do what I think it does that link just takes me back to this exact spot in this exact topic. Please pardon a rare bout of cluelessness on my part: what does that option do, exactly? Hi Scott,
It just prevents you from using mousewheel to tune when the mouse pointer is not over the spectral display. ie, mouse wheel works outside spectral area if enabled. It was put in to prevent accidental scrolling of frequency if you missed some other slider slightly, such as drive, agc gain etc etc etc. It is explained in post above showing blue/red overlay image. No idea why that link didnt take you to the post. I will link again viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3182&start=330#p9435
Anyhoo...when CTUN is enabled...
So when you drag the passband and you are massively zoomed in, such that passband cant not be entirely shown, the spectrum scrolls to follow the passband/filter with zero pos in the middle.
At all other times, the passband will move, until it gets close to an edge, at which point the spectrum scrolls. You can think of it when massively zoomed in, that it is already near the edge so the spectrum will scroll.
The other case is if you drag the spectrum using the top strip, the passband will be moved if is about to go off the edge of the IF sample area, essentially preventing it from leaving the IF.
From memory, the only way the passband will leave the view is if you use the top scroll or pan when in CTUN mode.

mute display text box/label has been moved down there by the andromeda code, and the background is not transparent. It needs a rework/reposition, but as I will be dumping compressed view in a couple of weeks (more like months), not worth worrying about at this stage.

UPDATE
Hi all,
Please try : link removed, see post #1
Note: waterfall update interval code changed, you will probably need to change delay setting in Setup>Display>RX1/rx2. It is now frame rate based. It did not make sense to perform it after some arbitrary interval, because that interval may or may not have aligned with a redraw of the frame. Consequently inconsistent jitters could be observed in the waterfall. You now have the option to change the frame interval which defines when a new line is added to the wf. The ms number shown is how often the line will be added.
Last update before Christmas unless something is broken (I said that last time). Code will go off to Doug in a couple of days if nothing serious found.
73, Richie.

-change: waterfall draw delay removed, now entirely based off FPS and a frame interval
-fix: linAuto now displays in colour in DX engine, min/max bug
-add: duration of smeter signal history
b5_1 fixed issue with time display when hovering mouse over waterfall

cpu status bar change as not yet been released. Saving issues, probably related to TX profile, save the TX profile and should be ok?

Hi Richie,
yes, TX-Profile saving is working fine, but i mean that will not save the Filter-Type???
I have the Database manuell edit, now it works again.

EDIT: Tested: Saving TX-Profile saves also the Filter-Type from DSP-Options. If I use Apply and OK on the Setup-Form
it saved NOT the DSP-Filter-Type !!

Re: 2.6.9 QSK Oddity?
Greetings all:
Using Thetis 2.69 B1 or B5 on my 200D while testing for RF leaking into Ant 2 while Tx assigned to Ant 1 Found the following:
If QSK is turned on Tx power goes to whichever RX antenna is selected 1,2, or 3 even with Ant 1 checked as TX and check boxes
under ANT 2 and 3 for do not transmit on those antennas. I also See the previously reported leakage during non QSK transmit to
Ant 2, About -10 db to plus 5 db during random keying spikes in CW mode. Lengthening Keyup delays does not stop the spike. Not
looking for solution to that here. See Similiar spike on my 8000 DLE also.
Only curious if tx during QSK is normal. Tested on 2nd desktop PC also with same results so I do not suspect corrupted database.

Re: 2.6.9
I have been noticing with the last few releases that when I'm on AM for a while and use the space bar for the PTT for a QSO, when I switch to SSB and turn VOX on the VOX does not work. The only way I can get Vox to start working agn is to restart the software. Then all is well. I am using VAC with a USB mic pre for my mic audio.

I wonder if it is that when changing mode from AM to SSB, it may also change to another TX profile, that ssb tx profile not enabling the vac?

Re: 2.6.9
Hello
I am presently now utilizing VAC for the audio input .
And when I have used this function (OFF DELAY PTT) in HPSDR this provided the ability to add time to the off command while using PTT
thus compensating for the latency .
Thetis does not have this function.
It would be nice to re establish this ability in Thetis.

Re: 2.6.9
Ok, I 'll figure out the issue with the Rec / Playback.
More interesting is that Playback does't work on start-up
ie: try this... Bring up Thetis , push the Playback button...nothing happens !
If you select MOX and then select Playback..nothing happens with Playback
I had to check to see if indeed there was a .wav file in the directory.
To solve the problem , snip a new recording off the air ,then all is wonderful.
Well , wonderful as far as the buttons working.
Transmitting the file over the air is still a problem using VAC.

Gary I saw your post some time back and even contacted Doug about it. Testing on that issue I found a different problem using the Thetis QSK feature. I only use CW for PA calibration and tuning normally. Whatever power is set in the 200D in this case (not using my amp for these tests) comes out Antenna 2 port when I select Antenna 1 as transmit port and check boxes at the bottom of antenna filters page for NO TX on ports 2 and 3 . That works Ok when QSK is not selected other than the low level leakage and nasty spike up toabout +5DB I capture on my spectrum analyzer. I posted elswhere (diversity area) to someone who uses some sort of optocoupler switch on the rx line I think. Waiting for more info on that also as a partial fix.
Got expensive blowing Magnetic rx loop amps until I figured out why. Using RX2 (ADC2) Has very little leakage and no spikes yet on 200D and 8000dle.

just a note for your wishlist:
It would be nice to get rid of the yellow TX filter lines in the spectrum display when using DIGU / DIGL or FM. A TX FL button like in all other phone modes would be nice.

Hi Michel,
I noticed that here as well when the vac is in bypass mode, which is why I put the caveat around the release (may not be the correct solution)
Did it work before? please explain what settings you used to play wave recordings via that wave form. Are you using vac or direct connection to radio for audio etc etc?
