Hello Richie,

I use the TCI for log4om and tuner reminder with success but after an hour thetis shut down. Now when I try to connect something to the TCI server I get the following in the error log and thetis shutting down.

There is a full complement of CAT commands already implemented for RX2.

From a CAT perspective (not TCI) all the new IP port does is provide a separate mechanism for issuing CAT commands and receiving responses. Other than that it works identically to anything you can achieve using the serial CAT ports.

Perhaps I have misunderstandings.
Now I am working on 160 SSB. At this time, reception is on 80 m FT8, even at the time of my transmission on 160 m.
The communication log and the JTDX program are connected to Thetis via TCI.
Again, I may have made mistakes in this matter.

Problem. When communicating with TCI, JTDX does not work for transmission through VAC. Reception is working. When the settings are changed to CAT, transmission via VAC is resumed.

Do you have TCI-Audio enabled? That would not work. TCI-Audio is not implemented yet.
Activating TCI as transceiver interface (instead of OmniRig or hamlib) has no influence on the audio in/output.

When I switch the transceiver control to TPI, the audio signal for transmission disappears. Everything is fine with the reception. As soon as I switch back to CAT, everything returns to normal. I don't change the AUDIO settings

yep make sure use tci audio is checked off, and you hit refresh to get the audio devices listed, then select suitable ones

That's exactly what I did .. I did not connect AUDIO TCI and did not change anything ..

vac is set correctly in Thetis? Mute the vac? gain level? rx1 af level ? Line 1 + Line 2 set the correct way around to match the in/outs?

cant explain it, works fine here. TCI audio off in JTDX, and audio devices set to match those in Thetis.

add: warnings added to setup-dsp if settings do not match. Remember, if a mode uses a different TX profile, that profile may have different dsp settings as well, causing additional dsp rebuild time
add: improvements to TCI. Should now be able to TX through RX2 in JTDX for example. Note: split op needs work on RX2, so use fake or none in jtdx if using RX2 as the tx
fix: mon now works for audio on vac2, and can also be volume adjusted. Still no vac mon when using vfob split on RX1
fix: recording playback when TX'ing can be mon volume adjusted. Recording playback when not tx'ing is RX volume
fix: TCI rate limit should now work as expected

@RU6AI - I cant explain it. If you set the vac device in Thetis to headset/speakers do you hear ft8 signals? If all else fails. RX levels are up, mute is off, AGC level is ok etc etc, then back your database up and try a fresh one. Stranger things have happened.

just some ideas:
* maybe you have enabled mute? (mute works now also on VAC)
* is it only rx or also tx
* do you get audio (power out) when pressing "Tune" in JTDX
* do you "see" audio going out in Voicemeeter when pressing "Tune" in JTDX

Yes .. The same is not clear. It shouldn't be, but for some reason it is. On a regular CAT, everything works properly. I will sort this out. Thank you.
