Ring Buffer and PortAudio latency numbers changing

Postby JJ4SDR » Sat Aug 27, 2022 3:08 am

Hi,
Using Thetis v2.9.06 x64 Protocol 2 (2.1.18).
Noticing that the latency figures that I set (Manual boxes all checked) keep changing by themselves after a while of operating the radio. They seem to revert to numbers that I had set a long time ago so my changes alluded to above revert to those "default" numbers. Are these numbers band specific and I need to change them for each?
I assume that I need to Export Database with the new latency numbers or am I missing something? Mainly, I wonder why the manually set numbers keep changing. I wouldn't want to create a new database just to have the latency numbers stay the way I like them.
Best,

Those settings are saved in your transmit profile. Unless you save the profile after making adjustments they will revert to previous settings next time you turn off/on the radio or change transmit profiles.

Hi David!

I see. Thanks very much. Didn't realize these parameters were part of TX Profile, but it certainly is better than having to Export the Database just to have those figures activated.
