Hello,
I am having a odd behaviour when I enable the Auto AGC-RX1 function.
As you can see in the picture below, I have to set a very high value (26db) to keep the threshold few db over the noise floor level.
I don't know what I am missing but it seems I have inadvertently set a 20db offset somewhere.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Re: Auto AGC RX - Odd behaviour
That’s normal. Simply set the value with your ears.
Re: Auto AGC RX - Odd behaviour
Yes, "normal", although perhaps not as intuitive as it could be. Richie changed the auto attenuate shift scaling so that it takes into account bin width and some other factors. It's a complex calculation.

Re: Auto AGC RX - Odd behaviour
I am sorry for not having read the "Thetis 2.9.0" main thread, I should have searched better. The important thing it is the correct behaviour.
Actually I didn't said I installed the latest release (2.9.0.6 x64) because I was trying to fix a problem with TCI and SDC-Skimmer.
Anyway I'll read the full thread and if necessary I will open a new report.
Thank you very much for the hint
