Losing VAC1 settings

Postby JJ4SDR » Mon Feb 13, 2023 1:51 am

Not sure why, but when I switched between LINE-IN and VAC1, returning to VAC1, the VAC1 settings had changed. By that I mean that the "Driver, Input", and "Output" had changed and I had to manually set them right, back to the original. When I go from a TX profile that employs VAC1 to a TX profile that does not, when using LINE-IN, the box to use VAC gets unchecked too. Why wouldn't the correct VAC1 settings populate automatically when I switch back to a TX profile that uses VAC1?

Are you sure that you had VAC1 enabled before saving that transmit profile? All of mine that I use VAC with, are saved with VAC1 "engaged" and I havent had an issue

What Perry said.

Also, turn off the "Auto Save TX Profile" options in Setup > Transmit so that you don't accidentally change a profile.

I always have VAC1 enabled. It is only recently that I have played with feeding audio into the LINE-IN where I don't have VAC1 enabled.

All AUTO Save boxes have been unchecked for as long as I can remember.
