I have a brand spanking new Windows 11 installation with fresh Thetis 2.9.0.6 x64, and I've discovered a problem.
I have two monitors, the primary being a 144hz display, Thetis is always used on this monitor.
I have the FPS set to 120, and when the Thetis window is selected, the FPS drops to 60. If I deselect the window, the FPS comes back up to 120.
I'm pretty stuck here. I don't think I had this issue before on Windows 10. Thoughts?
Here's a video of the issue. I reset the database and set the program fps to 120 before taking this recording, and the issue persists.
Windows 11 FPS Drop Issue
Re: Windows 11 FPS Drop Issue
If you are using a 144Hz display, then what happens when you set your frame rate to 144Hz in Thetis and also turn on VSync?
Re: Windows 11 FPS Drop Issue
I was able to fix this by adding Thetis to NVidia control panel 3d settings and setting frame rate, vsync, and gsync options.
