Well for what its worth, version 2.9.0.31 will not run in a Parallels VM which is version 18.3 and windows 11.

I think I see a bug with 2.9.0.29 -- if I had RX2 enabled the last time I closed Thetis, it freezes the next time I start up Thetis.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

Rather than have to deal with folks grabbing half finished, non-working, work-in-progress code, and all of the thrash that might entail, he has temporarily taken the repo private while it undergoes some transformations.

I know that I'm too dangerous for my own good, having developed enough skill to build the code and all :D, but at this point it will be less stressful for all of us to remain patient.

It's reasonable to expect there will be some significant changes. Indeed, it will likely be different enough that it will no longer be called Thetis in order to strongly distinguish this new branch of code.

At any rate, we are all going to have to hold our horses, keep our shirts on, and cool our jets for a while ;)

Scott,

Have you heard anything further from Steve?

Negative. It's possible he has lost interest.

Hello guys,

Steve hasn't lost interest. I am just about to send some emails for early adopters.

There has been a lot of duplication of effort, unfortunately, with the 'old' Thetis codebase, (due to lack of collaboration),
and this has slowed me down a touch.

But, I am getting there! I am still worried about supporting hardware I do not possess, however, and I am currently evaluating if it's something I can continue with moving forward. Please note that I have set up a system where my future releases can be in no way confused with Thetis any more.

I need the time to set up a proper public github repo for it, but its complicated as I need to work out how to 'share' some proprietary code that is now used. I need to basically get a license exclusion that allows me to either share the source, or alter the license. So, its not simple.

Well, there you go!

Getting around the Gnu open source license will not be trivial.

No, it wouldn't, Scott, it's the licensing of the proprietary code that needs changing! You misunderstood!
Please can you close/lock/delete this thread, now. Sent private email.
