Just ran across this gamer's project that basically strips out lots of unnecessary code that gamers don't need. Supposedly helps latency issues in a big way. Looks interesting, may setup a test box and see what happens. Anyway, anyone stuck a foot in the water here?

Interesting. If you have a machine that is dedicated to Thetis and nothing else it might be worth it. But maybe not. My somewhat old i7-7700 machine runs Thetis with P2 at 768K sample rate with zero glitches at the same time it is browsing, streaming with OBS, and doing a half dozen other things, all while running triple 4K monitors. And all I did was add a dedicated radio NIC and make a few smart choices on configuration. So if my old clunker doesn't need it most other folks probably don't, either.
At any rate it certainly makes sense to wait for them to add security back in, first. They got thrashed hard for that and are responding appropriately.
