how to copy RX level calibration data to a new database

Postby DH1KLM » Sun Jun 18, 2023 5:40 pm

Hi,
I am helping a friend to reinstall Thetis. We want to avoid importing the old database. His old Thetis version was RX level calibrated. Unfortunately I forgot my signal generator at home to do a level calibration.

Where in the database is the RX level calibration stored.
I want to copy this data to the new database.

thx

Sigi--I just looked in my database and I can't say for certain, but if you search for the following string, "_cal_" (without the quotes), then those might be the values you want. Perhaps if you compare them to what's in the new database that might be some additional confirmation.

Thanks Scott,

Through a comparison I found the following keys to be responsible for the "RX Level Calibration".
Simply copy the whole <Value> line and paste them into the new database.

<Key>rx_meter_cal_offset_by_radio</Key>
<Value>0.9800|... etc
and also
<Key>rx_display_cal_offset_by_radio</Key>
<Value>-2.1000|... etc
