A friend of mine is struggling to get Thetis to run on a computer running a video card from the 2009 era. It's an Nvidia Quadro FX-580 which I am not sure is compatible with Direct X 11 or 12.
With no checkbox that can be unchecked to disable Direct X dependency in Thetis, what happens when you try to run Thetis on a computer with no 3D video card or one that is not compatible with Direct X 11 or 12? Also, in Thetis does the GPU handle more tasks than computations related to drawing the active display window for the panadapter/waterfall area?

Re: Direct X dependencies with Thetis
What happens is it doesn't work.
A quick search shows that card supports 11.1 (with latest drivers, I assume). But it is an old card...
The GPU is used only for drawing, not for any DSP.
