Thetis and display truncation

I am working on a new SDR transceiver project I call it 'Hermes Heavy' it is based upon a 16bit Hermes board see pictures attached.

The 15 inch second display is 15.6 inch 4K monitor (seeedstudio.com)

While doing initial tests with the SBC and the displays I have noticed that the Thetis display is truncated and the bottom on both displays 7 and 15 inch.
I have tried changing the display resolution on the Thetis status bar and the display resolution and % size in windows but cannot get the full Thetis display on these smaller monitors.

My friend G4URH has also done tests on his 10 inch monitors using Thetis and has seen the same effect with no way of achieving a full screen?

I think we may be missing something but we do not know what! After all some of the Anan products have 7 inch displays and as yet we have not seen any issues raised in respect of the above.

Have any of you seen this issue before?

Right Click on the Task Bar ( Windows) and select Taskbar settings. Under actions, select "Auto Hide Taskbar ". Exit out of the settings and when you run Thetis the Taskbar should disappear until you put your cursor on the bottom of the screen. Then it will pop-up if needed.

The minimum allowable size of a Thetis window is 1018 x 609 pixels. If your display cannot provide that much screen real estate then you are out of luck. James' idea is a good one to obtain more space but it appears that the 7" display you chose will still not meet the requirements since it is a 1024 x 600 display, whereas the 7" screen that Apache chose is, IIRC, 1024 x 768.

On the 4K display the problem is most likely that you have the Windows scale and layout settings set incorrectly. Go to Settings > Display in Windows and make the appropriate adjustments. Note that a lot of folks have trouble with scaling set to 125%. On my 4K display I have it set to 150% and that seems to work fine.

You can use the Thetis collapsed mode. That works on a 7" 1024x600 display.

My 4K scaling is set to 135%, working fine for years.

Thankyou all for you responses - much appreciated.

I found an operating manual for the Apache labs transceiver which uses a 7 inch display - see attached.

I see that the architecture is different to what I am doing.
They use a Raspberry Pi which drives the display and they run Pi HPSDR on Raspberry to this display.
I understand that if you want to run Thetis then you still need a separate PC.

I have fond that the SBC I am using has a dual boot option to two OS's, I have windows only at the moment but plan to dual boot into Ubuntu giving me the option to run pihpsdr on my 7 inch display.

Its strange that the minimum Thetis size is 1018 x 609 you would have thought that the original designers would have chosen a more standard size like 1024 x 600. However there may have been good technical reasons why this could not be the case.

The Andromeda display was 1024x600. You can have a single screen display at that size, but only in "collapsed" mode.
