Just kidding, keep up your great job you do

Sorry, but just had to write this jokingly when sitting as a child on Christmas Eve and waiting for a package delivery on news for Thetis

You are the man regardless!
Not for me it won't.Bryan W4WMT wrote:The Network Watchdog won't kick it back into gear, Scott?w-u-2-o wrote:If you get a big enough interruption in the network it will cause Thetis to go into a "stopped" state. Pushing the "power" button should make it go again.
Yes, very little motivation at the moment to be honest. I guess it is the virus, being locked in, caring for high risk parent etc. Like so many. Still working on the multimeter stuff, but done when its done I guess. Perhaps this week, depends if I get the motivation back.SA3ATF wrote:Richie, obviously you don't release news for Thetis when you make Sun SDR movies instead![]()

Thank you Mike-- We have it changed to these setting and will see what happens.w9mdb wrote:For starters change the display from GDI to DirectX
And change your sample rate to 48KHz
See if that makes it behave better.

Network Watchdog was checked! Will uncheck and let it run for a couple hours to see what happens.
FYI- I only tested the transmit for a short time after making the changes per Mark's post. No transmit dropouts where noted at that time BUT the screen/radio still freezes after about 1 hour. Maybe this change suggested by you Gary will eliminate it--- Will see---

The radio has only froze one (1) time in the last 4 hours--- This is the longest it has gone yet.w-u-2-o wrote:I also have the periodic disconnects from the radio. I think there is something wrong in the network code somewhere, most likely on the firmware side, probably not anything associated with Thetis.
Have you increased your sample rate back to where it was yet?
This is most likely indicative of firmware not making timing on your specific serial number hardware. Try a different version of firmware.
