OC Control working fine now. Thanks!

Auto AGC is very nice, but it requires a different offset for my vhf xvtr. The noise floor on 10m is just below -120 dBm, but just below -140 dBm on VHF. Level CAL on HF, 6m and 2m is performed by use of a signal generator.ramdor wrote:UPDATE 21k
add: auto agc options added to AGC/ALC setup tab. This is experimental and relies on panadapter noise floor calcs
yeah, it'll need some more work for sure, it is totally experimental. I need to expose a couple of settings that change the sensitivity, attack, etc of the noise floor algorithm. Ideally, the gain slider with auto agc enabled would adjust the offset. perhaps right click the slider and the grab handle changes to a different colour to show auto agc.w2ner wrote:This auto AGC is very nice, would be great to have a button under the AGC gain control to enable auto AGC.
yep, eventually it will use an agc offset per band or something. Needs more work for sure, just the initial implementation.DL8LAQ wrote:Auto AGC is very nice, but it requires a different offset for my vhf xvtr. Great, thanks Richieramdor wrote:yep, eventually it will use an agc offset per band or something. takes a while to code these thingsw2ner wrote:ok, no email yet. w2ner at icloud dot com
That works perfect!ramdor wrote:Transverters
Here is a link to transverter modified version of 21k.
pre 21k2 for testing : https://bit.ly/3lRRQK4
It removes the transverter gain for the auto agc calculations.

Thank you! Have a nice weekend!ramdor wrote:DL8LAQ wrote:ramdor wrote:Transverters
greatThanks for the feedback. Have a good weekend. I think I am going to unplug for the duration

good stuff, yep. There will probably be a 21k3 later today, as couple of things need fixing (like that black display issue).PD3LK wrote:Hi Richie, thanks for version K, it runs nicely but i noticed one little thing:
switching between Collapse and Expand leaves the WF and FTT black (Power button off/on resolves this)
Very happy with Auto-AGC, works also fine with Panafall, not only with Panadapter.
Haha, look at this guy, apologizing for the nonstop updates!ramdor wrote:Sorry for the spam of updates this weekend.
We cant prevent the PTT Key rca output on the back of the 7000, not at this time anyway. If you use the OC TX pins you can do exactly what you want.Guenter dk8dx wrote:Hello Richie,
First of all, a big compliment and THANK YOU for your great work.
(Sorry, my english is bad, use google translation)
I have a big wish to Thetis.
When I press the TUNE button, the PTT output on the Anan should be blocked (off).
Why!?
I use Anan7000dleMK2 with ext. Amp LDmos 1K5.
I use the Tune button with 10W drive power for antenna SWR tuning.
If the external amp is ON now, 800 ... 900W power would come.
You can't tune an Ant with it and the amp would be defective.
... At the moment you always have to put the ext amp in standby mode.
All of this could be much easier and safer.
Hence the request:
Can you change the software that the PTT Outp. Pin on the Anan OFF (low) goes when the TUNE button on the console is pressed)
.... In addition, this function should be able to be switched ON or OFF with a checkbox in the setup menu (options or something like that).
That would be a wonderful thing, other hams who work with external amps will certainly be happy too.
I already say thank you and wish you continued success and fun.

Maybe make the AGC slider light blue when Auto AGC is on? (same as pan sliders?)
thanks in advance Ernst!
But not for "PTT out"... its only possible via OC Output...NC3Z wrote:Guenter, what version of 2.8.11 are you using?
What you are asking for is supported and works great to not key the amp when in TUN.
