Seems like a lot of work when you can use the OC outputs.

Re: New 7000/8000 Orion MKII Protocol 2 Firmware Topic
Attempting this for the first time. Have downloaded npcap already and the v2.1.18.rbf for my radio. As I was viewing the Bootloader and other "assets", I see many file names and I am not entirely sure which program file I need to download? The one with .msi extension?
See github image below (Scott has mentioned that latest versions don't make it to github very fast):
Oops.....these are for Protocol 1.....will I need to find one for Protocol 2 or perhaps what it says refers to the Protocol currently on the radio in which case I can use this Bootloader?
Currently using Thetis v2.9.0.6 x64 (Protocol 1) on my machine.
I see npcap is already among the programs on my Windows 10 64 bit machine.
Also, someone emailed me a link to this video clip:

Everything you need to know is in the three tacked topics here:

Use the instructions for Bootloader. Ignore the instructions for any version of HPSDR Programmer.
Those instructions are 100% good. The only reason they won't work is because either a) they aren't being followed precisely, b) there is something physically wrong with your setup, or c) some item of hardware is physically broken.
You want the HPSDRBootloader.msi file. That's the right choice for Windows.
That video is not bad!
