I just installed Thetis 2.9.0.6 a few days ago and I love it. But now I have no audio on the VAC cables
I dont think this is a Thetis issue but I am not sure.
The VAC standalone app I am running, and have been running with PowerSDR is VAC by Eugene Muzychenko.
It has been running perfectly on PowerSDR, no VAC audio issues at all. Then I install Thetis and now no audio on the VAC cable.
Do I have to do something with this VAC app ?
Thanks

No audio on VAC with Thetis 2.9.0.6
Re: No audio on VAC with Thetis 2.9.0.6
Please post screen shots of your Muzy VAC control panel and the Thetis VAC1 setup screen.
I'm assuming you remembered to enable VAC1 on the main Thetis console.

Hello Scott, happy to find you here.

I forgot to ask you for a screen shot of the setup screen for WSJT-X. Please post that as well so that we can check proper assignment of Cables 1 and 2 vs TX and RX.
Do not use DirectSound. Use MME.
Change your sample rate to 48KHz.
Enable the Stereo checkbox.
Change your RX and TX gain to 0dB. It is RARELY necessary to need any other setting. Settings other than 0dB are indicative of other setup problems. Adjust your drive properly in WSJT-X, use DIGU in Thetis, set RX1 AF to 100 in Thetis, you should NOT need to change VAC gain from 0dB for WSJT-X.
It would appear you copied your Buffer and PortAudio settings over from PowerSDR. They will be different in Thetis. For now change these all to automatic.
When you get all this done, and if Cables 1 and 2 are not reversed, VAC should be working with WSJT-X and under/overflow counts should be low or zero. You can zero those counters by clicking on them.

Scott
I applied all of your suggested fixes and it now WORKS.
Not sure which one did the trick but I am getting audio to WSJTX for sure. All is as it should be.
Well except for the sample rate due to I am still on Protocol 1 19.2K is the fastest I can select but I will move to P2 now and then run that up as you suggest.
Now I just have to figure out how to get that stand up for Ukraine box gone and I am all set to fine tune this software.
Thanks again Scott, much appreciated

Pete, your coment "Well except for the sample rate due to I am still on Protocol 1 19.2K is the fastest I can select" made me wonder if you have possibly confused the Audio sample rate with the F/W sample rate. As Scott said, you should change you Audio sample rate to 48000. The F/W sample rate is the one that should be set to 192000 (for protocol 1).
Just an FYI,

Thanks Joe, you are correct I did confuse them.
Set Audio Buffer Size to 48K as suggested.
Thanks
