Received email from Apache-Labs in Dec 2023 requesting final payment. Paid.

Received my 100w G2 (blackface) in Jan 2024.

By the way we used PayPal.

I haven't heard of anyone receiving a G-2 in April. I would like to hear reports if so.

I paid my final invoice via PayPal on 5 Feb 2024 (for G-2 no display), but so far, no radio. I've received some sketchy replies to my emails citing delays due to Easter and another citing trouble with Indian customs being backed up.

I guess they're treating buyers differently for some reason. Perhaps they will take pity on me and ship my G2 soon. They've ignored the last six emails from me pleading for a shipping update.

Excuses after excuses, this company is very good at blaming others for their deficient business practices. I didn't realise Easter occurred in February? Good Friday was 29 March 2024, Easter Sunday was 31 March 2024. Your new G-2 should have shipped well before March 2024... unless you got scammed by the "scammers intercepting their compromised email server"

Sorry to hear about your shipping delay, Phil. My G2 was shipped from Gurgaon, India. According to FedEx tracking, it's still in New Delhi. The shipping delays seem to be random since Bryan W4WMT is also having trouble, and he lives in the same state as me.

Maybe they are prioritizing shipping by how handsome the ham is.

I ordered mine on February 5, 2024. It will arrive today, as Fedex shows it is on my local office and on the truck to be delivered.
It was shipped Fedex Express, weekdays only.
There is a charge for Fedex, not duties but on the final bill to be pay.
So, from when I paid, took about two weeks, to see the tracking number on the site tab for the invoice. Still not updated but show down payment, and shipped.

PayPayl also sent information etc.
So, about two months from order to delivery.
They must be rally busy and ignoring things that may distract from the business, but the things move once the down payment is paid.

Shipping update as I ordered a G2 without display on Feb 12 and did the 1k prepay. On April 14th I received invoice for the rest and paid via PayPal. I was told via email that it had to clear customs and on 4/23 I received a notice that Shipping Label was created. As of the 24th because of time difference it is in New Deli so will see how long it takes to arrive.

They cannot be selling a lot of G2 I wonder just how many radios are in back order .
Maybe the delay from lack of employees or they work only a few days a week to keep operating cost down.

The Radio Was held in New Delhi for 3 days then on to Ontario and just Arrived in Memphis, TN at 11:02 PM 4-26-24 which is a FedEx Hub. It will be interesting to see where it goes next. It will be a world traveler for sure. I wonder if I can get frequent flyer miles?

We have no FedEx in Naknek/King Salmon I wonder how my G2 going get to me last stop Anchorage Ak no road from Anchorage to Naknek it’s 850 dollar round trip plane ride for me to ANC and back Naknek with over night stay with motel cost $175 night

Bob never reported back as having actually received his G2. I too would love to hear from him and see how it's going.

I paid my final invoice on February 4 for a G2 no-display, but no radio yet, just excuses.
Last week I finally initiated a dispute on PayPal because their 180 day time limit was running short. Apache responded via PP saying that they were holding my shipment because of the dispute. Can you imagine the gall that would take? They offered to ship the second week of May if I drop the dispute. I'm afraid that they are just trying to run out the clock.

Bryan, I believe I would not wait any longer if I were in your position. If the ship date that they quoted puts you outside the time you can make a claim with PayPal, and it's long after you have paid the final invoice, then, if it were me,I would follow through with my dispute with PayPal instead of giving them an open-ended opportunity to delay further without any recourse on your part.
It is unfortunate that you have been treated this way. And there really isn't any excuse for it. I have thought of purchasing a new G2 Saturn with the front panel. But, given experiences like yours, I believe I will stick with my 8000DLE. It makes no sense why they can fulfill some people's orders in a fairly reasonable time, and yet, delay and avoid communicating with others until they take action to recover their funds.
To me, this sort of thing makes them unreliable. I would rather purchase from someone that cares about their customers and their reputation. Apache labs appears to do neither.

Other thing odd is why do you only see a few reviews on G2 by owners it’s like they are scared talk about them
Or embarrassed the way they where treated by company.

Joe, there are reviews around for the G2 Saturn radios. Some are here and others are scattered around on different forums. There are reviews on groups.io mailing list pages as well. But, the G2 Saturn radios are new and haven't been in production very long. And I doubt that Apache labs is selling them in large quantities. Especially since they have such a long time between ordering and actual shipping of product. And I imagine poor communication with customers isn't helping the situation either.
I hope you are one of the lucky ones and get your new radio soon. As for the amplifier, I think you might have a better chance of getting a Mercury amplifier than the one Apache Labs is attempting to sell. Plus, it is a proven design and many users are extremely happy with the amplifier and the customer service.

I don’t want be one lucky ones, everyone should be treated the same ,I don’t like response they gave that buyer when he put a dispute in PayPal . Than other buyer never posted if he received his G2 .Sounds almost like blackmail
