I’ve had no issue with my fan but I saw this video showing the G2 fan and how easy it’s going to be to swap it out. About the 6:50 mark is the part about the fan.

I've noticed it as well with my G2. Now if I can find a fan like a Noctua but with the specs of the current fan.

I think the Fan in the top cover of the G2 is 92mm by 25mm which spins at 2,000rpm.

No fan issues with my G2, although I've only owned it for about 2 months. The YouTube link shows the 120mm fan installed by default in the G2. Based on my experience, there's nothing particularly special about this fan. If I were to replace mine, I'd get a Noctua NF-A12x25, which is the same size and a very high quality fan suitable for all-round applications. Link: https://noctua.at/en/nf-a12x25-pwm

The connector is the same 4-pin PWM one as the factory-installed fan. I'd expect the Noctua to replace the factory-installed fan without any issues.

The Fan you listed above Noctua NF-A12X25 PWM is the wrong voltage. It should be 5V with CFM of 52 also the 4 pin connector will need to be modified as there a two strips of plastic meant to fit in a specific 4 pin connector. If used you will need to trim down those two strips to enable it to fit. also did not see a CFM rating. Maybe someone could find that spec.

Great catch, Bob. Fortunately it looks like Noctua does make a 5V variant - https://noctua.at/en/nf-a12x25-5v-pwm. The spec states only a 58CFM, which is maybe lower than what Fourdot reports (I find conflicting values when searching). I wonder how accurate the Fourdot fan specs are, though.
