Hi,
someone in USA can try to phone to AL office in California and ask to tell the truth about the Anan G2-1K delivery?
It is the time from me to decide to wait some more months, to use the money I have sent to buy another model or to ask for a refund by PayPal and my lawyer.
Thanks.

I just looked at the website for Apache labs and the G2 1K is not on the site nor the linear amplifier. Maybe we’ll never get them !hihi
I sent emails asking for updates on the G2 1k haven’t heard anything. Made four phone calls last two weeks no return calls.
I do have a G2 that requires a few parts. Going to try to get them from Apache labs so maybe they will answer a prayer request. Hihi
I have to go back and look at my invoice, but this will be another anniversary date coming up in September if I don’t hear back from them this month, I’m going to ask for my money back.
So it looks like this is getting close to the end for me. Mercury here I come in October.

Just a few days ago you could click on Products and it would take you to a page showing the 1.5K G2 and the amplifier. It stated that they were not taking orders at this time. Now, all of that is gone. The entire website has been revamped and only the G2 Saturn Ultra and the G2 plain face radio along with the 10E are listed. I suspect that the 1.5K transceiver and the amplifier will never appear.

I wrote an email to AL and Tony replied first shipment in 6 weeks...
I read this many times and AL has been using mine 2k $ for 3 years.
It is really their last chance to produce facts and not only bla-bla.
I confirm what James has noted: on monday September 1st you can access pages of Anan G2 1k on new web site, today they disappeared.

They changed the website again. The 1.5K transceiver and amplifier were not listed anywhere on the website last night. Who knows, maybe they will come through for those that put deposits on the radio and amplifier. But, even though they are listed, they aren't taking preorders. ( until the backlog of orders are filled)
Time will tell.

Hate to say it, but at this point the probability of receiving any of those products seems nil.

Scott, can you please clarify what you mean by "any of those products"? Any of what products, exactly?

Asking for a friend, because a reader of your post may not be clear on whether you're referring only to a specific line or family of products, or to any Apache Labs product.

Thanks,
Mark

Any of the products for which people have paid money over 12 months ago.

This is just my opinion.

I hope you are not right.
I think they got about 30 preorders or more, that is about 50k$, not some bucks.
I hope they are not so pirates...

P.S.: I can consider they will not produce soon the linear amplifier and Anan G2 1K but agree to use money of preorders to send different models or refund people involved.

This is exactly why I am not pre-ordering a G1. I would rather just safely wait until they are shipping and a few people have them before I order. I know it's going to cost me more but consider it as insurance.

Scott, literally, it is heartbreaking. I have always thought so highly of Abhi and Apache Labs. If he does not make good on the High Power SDR and the AMP - I don't know how A.L. maintains any semblance of credibility?

Now that Apache Labs Headquarters is in California, anyone owed money for an undelivered product can file a small claims action. The dollar amount limit is $12,500.
Details about the process and necessary forms etc. are covered in the document link below.

https://selfhelp.courts.ca.gov/small-claims-california

Although it is no consolation, Apache Labs treats its suppliers and US resellers just as poorly as its customers.

FWIW, I purchased my radio through HRO. Ordered it in February 2022 and received it in August 2022. HRO had 20+ units on back order. HRO received the units in early August and dropped Apache Labs shortly there after. Before HRO, Giga-Parts source Apache Labs products, they also dropped Apache Labs.

That's what the law and lawyers are made for. As a group, it shouldn't be too hard to find representation that will recover your money. Honestly, I would have never waited this long to try and get my money back. After the first missed delivery date,it should have been clear that something was wrong.

If you will edit your post so that it only contains provable statements then it can stay. I understand and appreciate your position, and the position of everyone else who have given money to Apache and have nothing to show for it, and the anger and frustration that goes along with it. Nevertheless, as a public forum it is important to avoid potentially libelous statements, both for yourself and for the forum.

Unfortunately, Wr3s did not respond to my post, or my email. As a result, in an abundance of caution, I felt that it was better to delete his post. It's a shame, because he makes many valid points. He just needs to do it in a way that does not beg any legal questions.

He only registered with the forum about a week ago. It's possible that he only came here to post that one thing, and even used a "burner" email account to do it. If that is the case, then he may never know that he is welcome to post, just in a more thoughtful manner.

I understand why Scott elected to delete the post. However, if I remember the deleted post correctly two of the potential libelous terms were Con man and Liar. Do they apply to Apache Labs? You decide.

Copilot
A con man (short for confidence man) is someone who gains another person’s trust in order to deceive them, usually for money or some other benefit. The key idea is that the victim believes the con artist is trustworthy, helpful, or knowledgeable—and that trust is what allows the scam to work.

Copilot
A liar is simply someone who says something they know is not true. The key part is the intention: a lie is told on purpose to mislead, avoid consequences, gain an advantage, or protect themselves.

Hi All,

I would like to provide a quick update on your ANAN G2-1K order.

The Factory has completed production of the Pallet Card, LPF, Filter/Control Boards. The enclosures have been delayed by the Chinese CM due to the Chinese New Year Holidays. The laser cutting and sheet metal work is complete, and the plates are now undergoing surface finishing and powder coating.

We expect to receive the enclosures in about 3 weeks after which the final assembly of the electronics will be completed followed by testing and burn-in after which we will commence shipments of the rig. We expect the final assembly and testing to take approximately 3 weeks after receipt of the enclosures.

We will commence invoicing your orders once it has completed the testing/burn-in. Orders will ship strictly in the order they were received.

I have had some queries regarding the enclosure dimensions, these are:

49.7cm L x 38.4cm W x 13.8cm H (not including extrusions/Handles)

The Product page has also been updated with the latest specs:

https://apache-labs.com/al-products/104 ... oking.html

We have also upgraded the LPF, this is now based on the design by DJ0ABR and is capable of high duty cycle operation without the need of active cooling, we use T200 size cores for 160/80/40/30/20M and 2mm Thick Copper wire coils for the higher bands.

I would like to apologise for the delay, however, we are quite confident that we will ship your orders as per the estimated ship time provided above without further delays.

Regards,

Abhi

Hi All,

I am posting this on the forum and not via email since we have been having some issues with the email which our web team is working on fixing at the moment.

Thank you for your patience with the 1K5. My apologies for posting this update a little late, I have been a little unwell with the Flu but on the mend now!

As mentioned in my last update we are in the final production stages of the 1K5 and since this is our first high power model we are also learning on the go, what we don't want to do is leave any weak link in the chain before we ship your units out.

We were using a 53v 50A PSU for the radio which was maxing out on some of the higher bands, since the current capacity is even lower at 110v this was also not adequate for 800W output as specified at 110v operation, our supplier has been kind enough to replace these with 53v 75A units which work as required for full 1500W output (220v) and 800W (110v). Since the footprint is exactly the same no changes were needed to the chassis and we are now awaiting delivery of the 75A PSUs. We expect delivery of the upgraded PSUs in 2-3 weeks, we expect to take about a week to fit and finalize assembly of the radios once the PSUs have been received.

There will not be any additional charge for the PSU upgrade and Apache Labs will absorb the price difference.

Issue Raised: Potential modification to operate as a Linear Amplifier[highlight=]

Action Taken: Seeking type approval

Engaged: Stateside lab for Certification

Status: Process expected to complete shortly

It was brought to our attention by several key stakeholders that the ANAN-G2 1K5 model could potentially be modified to operate as a Linear Amplifier by bypassing the internal Saturn card. Given the regulatory implications of such modifications, it was recommended that we seek type approval for this model to ensure full compliance with all FCC relevant regulations.

In light of these recommendations and out of an abundance of caution, Apache Labs has decided to proactively pursue type approval for the ANAN-G2 1K5 model. We have engaged a reputable lab in the United States to undertake the necessary testing and certification process. We are pleased to report that this process is underway and is expected to be completed shortly.

Additionally, the ANAN-1K5 Linear Amplifier is also in the process of obtaining FCC type approval. We had commenced this process in early May are diligently working with the Lab to secure this certification and will commence shipments as soon as it is received.

We will provide further updates as soon as the type approval process is complete and shipping commences.

Regards,
Abhi

You are right on the money, Chip. Hopefully your post does not get removed.

While I can't solve this problem, what I can do (and what I recommend others do), is DO NOT BUY ANY AL PRODUCTS until they come clean and explain what is really going on AND make this right with those who preordered.

I wish another company would step in and start building products for this market ...

Sadly, this has become a common theme and it is plain for anyone to see and read about all over the place on the internet. Reports of refunds not being issued after cancellation requests, endless delays, full voicemail boxes at HQ, emails going unanswered, and an overall lack of public communication. Of course, there are always two sides to any story, but the consistency of these reports is difficult to ignore.

I raised these concerns with Abhi a year or two ago and was told that things would improve. However, I still regularly see posts describing the same issues, and even a single post of this nature is one too many.

There is little more we can do. The concerns have been raised, and I am sure Abhi and others are aware of what is being said on various forums, yet there continues to be silence on these matters publicly. If ApacheLabs wanted to put these issues to rest, there would surely be a visible effort to resolve them. In time, that would likely reduce the negative posts and bad publicity. Hopefully it would restore confidence in the brand and especially when ordering direct, because at the moment that seems to me to be at rock bottom.

It is very disappointing, without question. :(

UPDATE on AWOL ORDERS - especially the G2-1K

The G2-1K saga continues. More delays and excuses. AFTER WAITING 3 YEARS & 3 MONTHS, I just got this "update" from ABHI. This entire ordeal is heartbreaking. And sadly, it is not limited to the G2-1K. I know of a number of Hams who have not received the G1 they ordered & for which they paid in full ... and the same is true of Controllers, etc. In all cases, emails go unanswered. I honestly do not see how Apache Labs survives; THIS ENTIRE ORDEAL DEFIES LOGIC. If you read through all the Forum Posts and the Emails from Abhi - there are STRIKING CONTRADICTIONS. As a longtime A.L. customer & passionate Defender of the A.L. brand, I gave ALL possible benefit of the doubt to Abhi - I even ordered the ANAN-1K5 HF & 6M 1500W Linear Amplifier. I extended Trust - even after my Trust had been violated and even after multiple Broken Promises. Honestly, I am not angry - I am hurt, grieved and sorrowful! At the risk of sounding cliche - those of us who have been ardent members of the Apache Labs Community - feel betrayed. I am especially sad for the Hams that were influenced by me - and bought an A.L. product - even when reviews & comments were virtually all negative. But I assured many that though they might deal with a delay, they would certainly receive their order. I feel partially responsible for those with whom I am close friends, and who listened to my advice ... but who now have no A.L. product and no Refunds. There is a Bible verse (ROMANS 4:18) that best sums up my feelings & thoughts: "IN HOPE AGAINST HOPE HE BELIEVED ..." Intellectually, my mind tells me that I have been betrayed and conned - but Emotionally, my heart hangs onto Hope. I desperately want to believe that Abhi will make all of this right. (Please forgive the philosophical rant.)

Based on our current progress, we expect to begin shipping the G2-1K in March 2026.
We appreciate your patience and continued support, and we will keep you informed as we move closer to release. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out.
