I am running Thetis v2.10.3.5 Pre-Release 3. I have it configured to prevent Tx on non-Ham freqs in the US. (Extended not checked in Setup). It works as expected with one minor thing.

If I Tx with the Thetis MOX button or the spacebar, I get the pop warning window, I close the window and Thetis continues.

If I Tx using my CMD-PL1 midi controller mapped key, I get the popup warning window, I close the window, and Thetis powers off. The Thetis power button goes off. I have to press power again in Thetis to continue.

It's not a big deal but it seemed inconsistent to me.

Hello again

If I uninstall version 2.10.3.4 and install today's version 2.10.3.5 prerelease-4, VAC1 does not work (no audio in the headset).

After doing a new installation of today's prerelease version-4 (I deleted the OpenHPSDR directory to do so), VAC1 works again.

The code turns off the radio if a cat based ptt/mox fails (midi uses cat functions/calls). It fails due to being out of band and then it just powers off. I checked back to March 2017 and the code is there, and like 99% of the strange things that go on in the spaghetti, there are no comments as to why.

This has always seemed to be a rather overly draconian response to an attempt to transmit out of band. It would be vastly preferable if the software merely refused to TX. A pop-up message isn't even required.

Seems to me the problem might be that you really don't know if the PTT worked.
If the PTT was never sent that would fix that problem though you'd still want some sort of warning...otherwise people are wondering why PTT doesn't work. A temporary popup of "Frequency X.XXMHz is out of band -- PTT aborted" should do.
Still same behavior though if PTT is sent and fails for any reason you don't know the state of the rig so power off is the safety position.

When using panafall and I try to expand the waterfall all the way up Thetis exits. Also happened once when scrolling the frequency bar on top of spectrum display.

Radio is 7000del mkIII

I am not experiencing this reported behavior. Tested while running Thetis powered on and off.

Tested on Microsoft Windows 11 (Pro and Enterprise 23H2)

It may matter how the monitors are setup assuming there are at least two monitors (which I suspect there is).

Mine are "extended" with the #1 screen top and #2 on the bottom and I can't duplicate this problem.
But if you put #1 on the bottom and #2 on the top the offset numbers are negative -- perhaps that's the problem?

Okay will try clearing programs from the tray. Will let you know how that turns out.

Okay I cleared as many as I could programs from system tray but same thing was happening. I then reduced display resolution down to 1080p from 2160 and I could not trigger the exit of thetis. I dragged multiple times and nothing happens. Will continue checking. Also exits at 1440 resolution.

At 2160 or 4k resolution and the recommended scale of 150% thetis exits if I drag up the waterfall. But if I move the scale to 175 and above it does not exit.

Also got this window one time. Picture attached.

I'm running 4K resolution and cannot duplicate this problem.

Edited to add: also running 150% scaling.

I know this is a somewhat trite suggestion, but have you tried updating your video drivers?

Yes, just the day before I updated the Radeon drivers.

Okay I am using a display port cable to my monitor. And when I use an HDMI cable it does not occur.

Talked a bit soon, it still occurs but takes a bit longer.

Not sure as I don't use the waterfall in full screen all the time .

I went back as far as 2.10.0 and it did the same thing.

Going to try a different driver for gpu.
