hah yes, bit slow with high numbers. Was thinking about going back to ms and do the reverse calculation, and round to frame rate interval, but left as is for now.w-u-2-o wrote:The change from milliseconds to frames on the waterfall update rate threw me for a minute! hmm.. must have something else happening then, because the code changes are 'removed' if that checkbox is uncheckedVA2EY wrote:Hmmm ...
with the new box no change from -70dB to + 70dB, only affects the VAC

After using it for a while, I must say the waterfall is much smoother with this approach!ramdor wrote:hah yes, bit slow with high numbers. Odd, fine here, though I dont use direct connect. Not done anything to the mic gain code either. hmm. You are replacing all the files not just thetis.exe right? I will try a fresh db here as well, but would expect it to be ok.DL8LAQ wrote:Hi Richie!
It seems that the MIC gain is not adjustable since versions higher than b_2. I am back to b_2 and MIC gain is adjustable.
I used a clean database to check that!
I changed all files. I did another try, from b5_1 up to b5_3 and changed to my xmit profile again and all is well with b5_3. Very strange!!!!!ramdor wrote:DL8LAQ wrote:

Will do that in a minute!ramdor wrote:Michel, Norbert and those testing mic gain issues, please try this test version :

If ok I will release a b6 with the changes.

Ok, can use all TX profiles. MIC is adjustable.ramdor wrote:Michel, Norbert and those testing mic gain issues, please try this test version :

no other than this recent vacbypass for recording playback, it was the first time I have been in the 'audio' code. I ran a diff on it and compared it to a version way back to the 18th of Nov, and nothing has changed. The issue fixed in this test version was preventing any gain being applied if vac was turned off, but it should be ok now, it is amazing what a missing ! can doDL8LAQ wrote:Richie, did u change something around the VAC1 TXGain? I am almost sure that last month when I used digital modes via VAC the VAC1 TXGain was set to 0, but today I tried Thetis for MSK144 (meteorscatter) I had to turn up the gain to >30dB to get a signal strong enough to drive my PA.
Thanks again for all, RichieHave a good night...
ok will release b6 to wrap these issues up shortly.VA2EY wrote:YES!!
mic gain works and TX gain Wave menu also
you are the best. now the beer ...
Hi Tom, I will take a quick look tomorrow to see if anything obvious is happening in the code. Is this a recent issue since b1? or does it happen in 2.6.7 or 2.6.8 ? It might be something in firmware, but will look at the Thetis part tomorrow.KA1GXR wrote:Can anyone else duplicate this? Using 200D Firmware 1.8. Thetis 2.69 B1 or B5:
If QSK is turned on Tx power goes to whichever RX antenna is selected 1,2, or 3 even with Ant 1 checked as TX and check boxes
under ANT 2 and 3 for do not transmit on those antennas.
I duplicated on a Windows 10 and Widows 7 different desktop PC. Hope this is not intended operation. I only use CW for TX power calibrate and tuning normally.

Hi all,
An update to fix some issues with mic gain, especially if you don't use VAC.

Waterfall delay has changed. In setup>display>rx1/2 set waterfall frame interval to 2 or whatever you want. A setting of 2 means that the waterfall is updated every 2nd frame. So waterfall updates are now directly based on the FPS timing. if you have 60fps selected for example, the waterfall set for every 3rd frame, you will end up with a delay between each waterfall update equal to (1000ms / 60fps) * 3 = 50ms.NL7F wrote:

Tom, I confirm this behavior on my 200D (rev 24 RF board). It occurs, as you say, only with QSK on. Full transmit power goes to the receive antenna selected (Setup > General > Ant/Filters > Antenna), This occurs even thoughKA1GXR wrote:If QSK is turned on Tx power goes to whichever RX antenna is selected 1,2, or 3 even with Ant 1 checked as TX and check boxes
