New 8000dle #108 download from the Apr 17th manual link produced an install with no 8000dle button choice.
So, I downloaded the latest GitHub version release.
The new download was sucessfully merged and the 8000 button appeared the setup window.
Is this "merge" stable, or re-install?
Computer is a Z800 Hp 2.8 dual Xeon with 32 gig and 4/16 core server.
This setup is working very well.
The 8000 is a cool radio!

Congratulations on the new 8000DLE! Yes, the new database merge process is very reliable and your new install should be completely stable with the merge of your old database settings into the new version's database. Chris - W2PA did a beautiful job with that feature and has relentlessly pursued that project to make sure it can merge a database from any previous version to the latest version.
