Has anyone noted the keyboard space bar PTT function doesn't work when RIT is engaged? (200D with version 3.4.7) Joe W8DCQ

Hi all,

with my 200D, Rev. 24, 3.4.7, FW 5.0, is the Spacebar working perfekt, also with RIT on.

I can confirm this behavior with my 200D REV24 (FW 5.0 and v3.4.7) when using the spacebar as the PTT device.

If I enable RIT or XIT, the spacebar PTT control will function, however, as soon as a frequency value is entered for either RIT or XIT with the little up/down frequency buttons the spacebar seems to lose focus and no longer controls the PTT function. Clicking on any button or slider in the GUI restores functionality until the next time you change the value in the RIT/XIT frequency adjustment field.

I'm not sure when this began, but I can go back through my OpenHPSDR versions if it helps to troubleshoot this item.

Confirmed: spacebar PTT does not work with RIT or XIT set to a non-zero value. They don't even have to be enabled. All other methods of PTT work.

I can confirm this, at my first test I switch only rit on/off.

It looks like a bug fix for this will be in the next release.

Strange.. My System works fine with RIT and XIT or any combo.Im using 3.4.7

I dont think its a bug...you have to use mouse on MOX first then spacebar continues to work...I noticed that ANY fuction used the Spacebar stays on that function,just an observation...KJ6GEA
