Not sure where to post this, maybe a good time to start a new section for general questions.

I'm thinking about upgrading from my Anan 200D to either a 7000 or 8000 but trying to work out the difference, from what I can tell the only real difference is 100W or 200W or am I missing something that's really important?

Could someone list the differences between both these radios.

Search on "fan controller" to find some threads about 7000 fan noise.

I've not hear that any retrofit rear panels have been made available for either the 7000 or 8000 to date.
