I recently connected a receive-only antenna to the RX2 connector and I'm noticing the received signal strength on RX2 is 28 to 38 dB lower (depending on the band) than when the same antenna is connected to ANT1 (RX1, ADC0).

I have 2 different antennae and I'm seeing the same results with either antenna.

I've done a Database Reset and am still getting the same results.

Is there anything I should check for software- or firmware-wise? I only recently decided to connect an antenna to the second receiver so I'm only now seeing the problem. My radio is only a week away from being out of warranty (purchased in February of last year) so if the problem is with the hardware I probably should contact the factory within the next week to get it fixed.

You might try to reload the firmware, but it's a longshot.

It could be a bad relay. It could be a bad cable or connector.

With the warranty period so close to expiring I'd recommend you contact the US repair operation ASAP.
