I have had my ANAN 7000 DLE MKII for about 3 months now and haven't upgraded or applied any patches whatsoever as, on advice from "veteran" users I wanted to stick with Protocol 1 for a while.

Is there a thread that describes how to migrate from Protocol 1 to Protocol 2 (the most "stable" and solid version)? I have been using THETIS v.2.8.11 (10/20/20) till now.

Not a Thetis topic, moving to the P2 sub-forum...

There is only one way from P1 to P2, and that is to load P2 firmware in your hardware and give it a whirl.

I suppose one might argue if this should be done using HPSDR Programmer or Bootloader. I'd strongly suggest Bootloader. It is a less ambiguous method, if a bit more complex.

and start with the latest version of firmware available.

If all else fails, go back to P1 using Bootloader.
