7000DLE MKII - External Fan

I have a PC case fan and the correct connector to add some external cooling. Right now I am running FT8 and the 7000 case is warming up well. I have a VM on the FAN power pins on the back of the 7000 and I am not reading any voltage at all. Is there a setting or jumper or something I need adjust in order to get power to this feature to work?
Thanks.

I see 12V on my 7000DLE MKII on that fan connector.

There are no settings or jumpers. If it's not working then it's a hardware fault.
Is the internal fan operating? That fan and the external connector are wired in parallel.
Also, if your 7000 MKII is old enough, it may have the original fan PWM controller. If so that might be throwing you off. This was later replaced by a simple hardwired, always on fan configuration. See

I never really hear the internal fan running, I presume it is quiet enough that might not hear it.

Nope...fan on the 7000 isn't that quiet....can hear it plainly....and can feel the air flowing too.

I've got my 7000 tucked away behind a sheetrock partition just so my mic doesn't pick up that fan (my large diaphragm condenser mic can hear a flea fart next door).
