When I click on REC two of my 'settings' disappear. COMP and TX EQ both disappear (no longer show as "on"). Is this a bug? I've set up a 705 with a wire to try and listen to my audio and set it up.... tailoring it for DXing .... but it appears if I want to use the REC and playback I'm not getting all the settings I'm testing around. If I don't do REC, if I just use the footswitch to initiate transmit, everything is as expected. Not that it is germane, I'm sure, but this is using the mic plugged into the rear of the radio (8000DLE).

I went back and tried this again yesterday - my plan was to see if indeed COMP/TX EQ disappeared OR if just the front panel buttons changed going from 'active' to not active.... I figured with MON on I could tell the difference with different settings ... and of course when I checked yesterday these things worked fine, they did NOT disappear. So once again I'm at a loss as to what happened there.

I know what I saw originally... if this returns I'll repost.
