Greetings all-

Finally getting around to asking this:
My Wave record never worked. You hit record and the box goes yellow- and nothing happens.
There is no clue- as to what causes this. There was no info in searching the forum.
Any ideas out there?

Tnx- Bob AB5N

Well no - because I have no response when I hit the record or quick rec buttons.
This fellow only had trouble recording TX audio.

The buttons turn Yellow and nothing happens. On the first load of Thetis years ago, it did work.
The last year or so, no go. I do use VoiceMeter for local monitoring if that matters.
Even if I don't launch VoiceMeter, it is still the same. Not a big issue, just odd.

Thanks for trying to help.

Bob

What "response" do you expect?
If REC button on the main-console is clicked it turns red (or changes icon, depends on selected skin). After stopping the recording you should have a SDRQuickAudio.wav in your %appdata%\OpenHPSDR\Thetis-x64 folder.

If you want to playback this over the air you have to enable MOX (or key the radio) in order to get the audio transmitted.

If you want to record your on transmisssion:
1) for your "actual transmitted" audio (including all eq/cfc processing), you need to set "Transmitter Output I/Q" in the wave-recorder options (and disable PS, if you want to check your audio quality)
2) for your raw audio (from MIC or via cmAsio) you have to select "MIC Audio"

All recordings resulting in a SDRQuickAudio.wav in the Thetis data folder.

or look here: C:\Users\YOU\Music\Thetis\
In my case alle recordings are there.
(i believe this is a default location, can't remember ever changing the path)
