ANAN 100B HERMES BAD RX ALMOST ALL MODE

Hi everybody and thanks for trying to help.

I have an issue with the Anan 100B Hermes that's the RX gone bad without any change. Radio was at at RX and volume was at 0 for an hour or so and when I was back, RX was very bad. Pretty complicated to describe but front panel headphone jack is working with span thru left - right working and backone jack too. Waterfall is messed up too. I have 2 PCs so Thetis is not an issue. Reset database etc. Protocol 2, works flawlessly for 3 days after a 6 months rest. Here's a screenshot of protocol box and a short video. Maybe a corrupt firmware or a blown TLV320AIC24 or TPA0202? Thank you for explanations of what do you think it can be. 73 de Stephane VE2SCA.

Have you ever tried receiving on a different band?
What is the transmitter doing?
Do you have an RF signal source?

Good day René.

Signal is coming from outdoor antenna and no issue with an other radio.

The problem is on all band and frequencies etc. TX seems to work. It happened when powered on. The problem is less noticable on AM depending of the bandwith of RX.

Thanks for replying and have a nice day.

Did you ever get this resolved, as I have a similar issue with my 100D

Hi Robert.

No. But I justed let the radio off and unplug. I'm waiting for tips maybe to resolve.

I'll think I will ask Doug W5WC about this. That'one of the best with ANAN stuff.

I'll post any suggestion that I will get if it is not a reply here.

Thank you and 73 de Stephane VE2CSA.
