Hi,
I don't know if it is related to this version of Thetis but today I noted that the TX is engaged when I plug in my Heil microfone to MIC input in front of my 7000DLE MK II with firmware 2.2.2
The Heil microfone is the one installed in pro set elite headphones.
There is no way to pass to RX when the Heil microfone jack is inserted in front MIC female.

Any idea why?

Microphone not wired correctly for the front connector?
Or, you need to make a change in Thetis settings for your microphone.

Microphone is the same I used and worked about one year ago.
I suspect that the about 200 ohm resistance of it is triggering for some strange reason the PTT line.


P.S. I find a workaround disabling PTT in setup but I think the mic resistance has not to trigger the PTT line.
P.S2. I discovered I had PTT On on Hardware Options. Selecting Off everything is working perfectly.

I moved this "problem with microphone" discussion to its own topic as it is not a bug report with the latest version of Thetis.

The problem, of course, is that your Heil microphone is wired improperly for use with Apache Labs ANAN hardware.

Your solution is a good work-around but not a complete solution. When PTT is disabled it becomes disabled everywhere because the rear panel PTT input is wired in parallel with the microphone connector PTT input.

For full functionality you will need to rewire your microphone connector or create an adapter.
