Hi --
I have Thetis 2.10.0, VoiceMeeter Potato, and WSJT-X 2.7.0rc6 installed and more or less running OK. However, there are two problems related to VAC that I can't get past.
The main one is that after some time, the virtual cable sending from Thetis to WSJT-X starts acting strangely. The level ...

Optimizing WSJT-X
I don't think that I am decoding some signals on FT8 that I should be able to. The basic system configuration works, and I am making quite a few contacts. But there are a lot of DX stations that my neighbors are copying that do not decode for me, and sometimes I will see a 15 second period with half ...

Re: Resampler Adjustment
A while ago I posted a topic about "ghost" decodes I was seeing on FT-8 with WSJT-X (see https://apache-labs.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3431&p=11398#p11398).
Today, I was finally able to pin down the cause, and it is the rational resampler. Attached is a shot of the WSJT-X waterfall showing ...

Re: WSJT-X FT8 signal images
Nigel, what you described is definitely part of what I was seeing. This afternoon I was able to nail down what's going on, though perhaps not quite why. The spurs, as well as a frequency wobble, are caused by the rational resampler. See the attached shot which shows a stable, unmodulated carrier at ...

Re: WSJT-X FT8 signal images
I am pretty sure this is *not* what some people are seeing in their PowerSDR panadapter windows. I do not see obvious signs of spurs there when my problem is occurring (though I have certainly seen bad transmitted signals there!).
What I am reporting is visible in the WSTJ-X waterfall display and ...

Re: WSJT-X FT8 signal images
Wow, I didn't realize my post would generate this many comments! I think I resolved the problem, though I'm not certain just what did it.

WSJT-X FT8 signal images
I am running an ANAN-7000DLE with PowerSDR mRX 3.4.9 and WSJT-X 2.1.0 using Virtual Audio Cable under Windows 10. Recently I am plagued with spurious images of any moderately strong signal on FT8 (say, 0 dB or better) where I get "ghost" signals and decodes spaced +/- 100 Hz from the main signal ...
