How have you connected a footswitch? To the input on the back of the radio, or using a serial port and DSR/CTS? I could understand a windows update effecting COM (serial) port operation but not the connector on the radio.

Since the update of Windows in October I have very big problems with the PTT. A normal QSO can't be done any more......To the problem....I start Thetis 2.8.11 and switch on the TRX....the PTT works fine for about 2 minutes, that means if I press the tune button or the foot switch the TRX goes on air ...
