Hi Georg,
remember to utilize DDUtil v 3.2.5 and connect your radio to your computer & the amp to your computer (as explained in the amp manual) so you can automatically control your drive level in Thetis by band. So you never overdrive your 1K-FA.
I've been utilizing this procedure since I got my Flex 5000A almost 10 years ago. DDUtil is to be downloaded on k5fr.com. It works for legacy Flex radios and has always been good for Anan radios operated thru PowerSDRmrx or Thetis. Later versions after 3.2.5 do not work being only suitable for Flex signature radios (6000 series).

Maybe you already use this configuration. If not I could give you a hand to fix it if needed.
