Full output power with Anan 7000?

Post by HB9LFQ »

Hi all,

I successfully could build piHPSDR on Ubunu and MacOs, receive etc. works, but on both systems I don't manage to get the full 100W output of the Anan 7000 (No problem withThetis on Win, so device is ok). Even with mic gain on 50 and drive on 100 I get only approx 30W power output and it does not matter whether I use an USB headset or a headset connected to the device itself. Additionally the tune power ist only approx. 1.8W when set to 10W in the menu. Antenna and SWR are ok and the same as with Thetis.
Is there any option that has to be activated in piHPSDR for an 7000?

Andras,
did you check the PA-Settings in your PIHPSDR Installation? The settings could be different from the settings in windows.

Andras,

Did you set the microphone gain? There is a 20 dB gain that can be enabled in the menu.

Hi all,

yes, I tried with Mic Boost but that didn't help and I try to adjust under PA, but the lowest value e.g. for 10m ist 38 and then I get approx. 30w max. And according docu the lowest value should give the highest output power...
