Heil HS-2

Is there any way to use the Heil HS-2 PTT on my 7000 DLE MKII? My mic is feeding audio via Motu M2 and USB to PC.

Regardless of what mic audio path you're using, any PTT switch should work when connected to the "PTT In" jack on the rear panel of the radio.

Of course you'll need an adapter to use the 1/4 plug on the Heil PTT with the RCA jack on the radio.

You'll also need to make sure that PTT is enabled in Settings.

What Mark said, plus:

- You can find the PTT enable setting in Setup > General > H/W Select > Hardware Options

- Since you are using VAC, be sure that in VAC settings the "Allow PTT to override/bypass..." setting is NOT enabled.
