piHPSDR with G2 RX2 audio output

Hi all,

if you are running piHPSDR with two receivers enabled, it is not possible to listen to both receivers simultaneously via the headphones. This is a big disadvantage for split DX chasing...

However, on page 61 of the piHPSDR manual the LOCAL AUDIO OUTPUT checkboxes and options are described. It should be possible to send both audio streams to some kind of sound device (virtual or sound card with headphone output).

Did anybody manage to use this option and/or can give me some advice for any hardware to be connected to the USB ports or so?

Hi Volker,

I just tried using the 2nd rx, but didn't get spectrum, waterfall or audio. All I got are grey and black fields below rx one. Will later try pihpsdr on M1 Mac too.

Running Saturn f/w 13 and pihpsdr build from 2024-04-03.

I am using built 2024-01-26. I can run 2 receivers at 192000 without problems. Second RX is assigned to VFO B. you can change to RX2 (activate) by clicking on the spectrum. The S-meter and headphone audio are always related to the active RX. Split is working as well.

Reboot, pihpsdr update today, no RX2!

Disable Diversity!

Diversity was enabled. Why? I never enabled diversity! Problem solved
