FM transmit scaling changes

Hi all,
I operate once a week on 6 metres FM on a local repeater. I have scaled my output to 50 Watts max and when I operate my tune function (have a slider to set value) I can set the output from zero to 50 Watts. Thats all fine......but when I go to transmit I set my power output (another slider on my hercules DJ box) to a nominal 20 watts to hit the local repeater, but what I get out is 10 watts exactly half of what is shown on the power slider on the screen display (I'm running latest thesis on a 7000 mkII). To get 20 Watts out I need to set the power slider to 40Watts. Strange enough (and the same across the last few thetis upgrades) to make me wonder if the AM transmit settings have gotten mixed up with the FM settings.
I wonder if anyone else has seen the same issues ? Along the way there have been DB resets etc. so I don't think that I have a problem particular to my setup. Its not causing me any big issues, but if I am correct then its something to consider on the next upgrade.
