Arranging Memory Channels

Postby N9EMC » Mon Aug 12, 2024 1:38 am

I am new both to the Anan G2 and the Thetis software. Very happy with both. I am trying to find away to arrange the random memory channels I have entered to make them easier to access. Ideally by frequency or type. Is there a file in Thetis I can access to move these entries about?

Thank you,

Hi Joe,

Perhaps you already know this, but if you click on any of the column names in the Memory Interface, Thetis will sort the display on that column. So if you click on RX Freq, the list will be sorted by freq. Click it again and it will sort again in the reverse direction. You can be creative by selecting Group Names, Name and Comments that are meaningful to you that will allow you to sort the list the way you want it. The Comments column could be great for using a custom entry to create the sorted list you want.

The file is located at C:\Users\[your windows username]\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR\Thetis-x64\memory.xml

Keep in mind that if you manually edit the xml file the new data would still be at the mercy of pressing the column names which would cause a re-sorting of the display.

Hello Rick,
Thank you for taking the tine to point out something, that should have been obvious. Or at least tried before writing the request.
I appreciate it,
