pihpsdr accessibility?

hi there,
I'm trying to find a way to use a Hermes lite, and the Anan 10-e from my mac, and so I've settled on Pihpsdr, as it seems to be the most accessible out of the bit of Sdr packages that are out there. I wanted to find out is there a way to get this compiled with native Apple Ui Libarys instead of the GTK Libraries? I can't get Pihpsdr to work with VOiceover Apple's built-in screen-reader. I myself and totally blind, and so I depend on some of the accessibility features that are built-in. Any help would be apprreciated.
