I have not used the 100D for quite a while i am on 5.4 FW and was wanting to upgrade to 5.9, i am wondering is i still have to put the jumper in place on the Angelia board to do this upgrade,
The only real reason i am doing the upgrade, is on tx when i first key the mic i am seeing a spike , for a tube amp its no big deal but i would think for an ldmos amp this could be an issue.
I am suing Thetis v 2 10 3 7 protocol 1
Thanks

quuestion about upgrading FW on 100D
Re: quuestion about upgrading FW on 100D
Those appear to be Protocol 1 firmware versions. All P1 firmware for the 100D can be found here: https://github.com/TAPR/OpenHPSDR-Firmw ... /ANAN-100D
6.0 was the last P1 firmware version produced for the 100D.
When up or down-grading P1 firmware to another version of P1 firmware, you should be able to use the HPSDR Programmer application. This method does not require moving any jumpers. If that fails for some reason, the you will have to use HPSDR Bootloader and be able to access the jumper to do so.
Obviously, at this point it makes sense to use HPSDR Programmer.
