Noise when MOX is turned on Thetis

Post by qst »

Hi,I started configuring the TX on the Anan 200D. I have a dynamic microphone connected to the Apollo Universal Audio, and the microphone signal enters the front-panel jack through a transformer. I connected the PTT to the rear DB25 socket on pin 13, as described in the manual. When I activate the PTT with the footswitch, a low power level appears on the screen for a moment, and I hear a clicking sound in the headphones. After that, the modulation is clear. I've set the MIC and ALC levels. When I press the PTT, there's no noise on the TX filter bar. But I activate transmit by pressing the MOX button. On the Thetis, the noise is clearly audible and I can see it on the TX filter bar. However, activating the MOX button doesn't cause any clicking sound in the headphones. What else can I do to avoid this clicking sound when I press the PTT? The correspondents hear it when I start talking?
