I tried Cmasio and decided that I wanted to go back to being able to use voice meter pot and using my mic control on the Anan. I can’t seem to remember the green icon from being used on Thetis and my front speaker and mic controls are still not working. I am using vac again ,but I don’t like the idea of cmasio still running. I went to the registry to alter the audient driver with no changes. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here I am including 2 pictures one showing cmasio running in the background while I’m using vac and the other of my registry. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did reinstall Thetis with no changes ,so I’m sure it’s in the registry.
Thanks

Re: Cmasio Disable?
If you are using a more recent version of Thetis, you can disable cmASIO via the setup.
Also, make sure there is no cmASIO entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OpenHPSDR\Thetis-x64. (This is the old path and is no longer valid.)
The valid path is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\OpenHPSDR\Thetis-x64
I don't know what your "Audient" entry is for.
A correct cmASIO entry looks like this.

Re: Cmasio Disable?
Thanks for your help and I’m using V2.3.10.11 of Thetis. The Cmasio tab is no longer in where it should be at under audio. I was thinking that I deleted it successfully but when I boot Thetis up I’m still getting that icon. Also my headphone and microphone jacks are not working on the hardware. I’m not sure why the Audient entry is there that’s my ID4 interface that I’m currently using for Vac running voice meter. What’s weird is before I enable Vac to use my interface,I’m getting received audio through my speakers and I know that’s the Cmasio running in the background. Is there a way to just delete everything and start fresh? I don’t want to mess up the registry. Thanks
Re: Cmasio Disable?
After reading your message again I was able to go into the new path for the registry to alter the asio driver and now the icon is gone and the controls on the Anan are working. Much thanks to you as I knew nothing about the new path. 73
Re: Cmasio Disable?
The cmASIO sub-tab will not be visible in the Audio tab unless you have included the command line option "-cmasioconfig" in your Thetis shortcut.
That information is found in the cmASIO Setup Guide that is included in the Thetis installation package.
