ANAN-G1 Band Pass Filters

Post by N9VX »

We now know that the ANAN-G1 does not come with Band Pass Filter unless you pay extra to get them. So I am trying to determine do I need them or not based on the other ANAN radios I have owned.

I THINK I know that all radios from the ANAN-100 up (including the ANAN-100B) have the filters. And the original 10, 10E and new 10E do not have the filters. Please correct this if incorrect.

Are the filters in the Hermes-Lite 2 with the N2ADR filter board Band Pass Filters?

In simple terms, what is the benefit of the Band Pass Filters?
