Hi I'm busy contemplating opening up my 7000 mkII to add the jumpers 22 and 24 to ground and put 50 ohms into the 10 meg external reference circuit. Two things.....has anyone got a photo of the board area in question that they can share, and what size/spacing are the jumpers ?

There is an excellent hi-res photo here: https://www.dl6ka.de/anan.htm
Look in the bottom right corner.
Headers and jumpers are standard 0.1" pin spacing.

What is the advantage to doing this?
I've been thinking about doing some modifications to my 7000 dle Mark 1, blue face, such as cooling mods, try to get rid of the Cross talk issue, etc etc. I was thinking about going as far as using an external cabinet, but if not 100% necessary, I don't want to do that.
Anyway any info would be great.
I hope your gentleman had a good holiday and happy New Year coming up.

Perry,
I can't see what your post has to do with jumpers 22 and 24.
If you start a new topic in the "Apache-specific Hardware Discussions" area of the forum, with a properly descriptive title, then you'll probably get more folks looking at it.
