Anan 7000dle Sma tvtr socket tx and rx?

I am trying to link up a single tx/rx feed transverter to my 7000dle. I have read the manual but still not sure whether the sma tvtr socket on rear panel is just for tx or whether rx also can go through that when tvtr is enabled and hf pa disabled in set up.

Steve,

the SMA Port provides TX output.
Taking a look at the schematics of the PA board you will see that there is no connection/path to the RX switching part.

Thanks Volker, that's helpful. I have emailed Anan to ask for a copy of the schematics but received no reply weeks ago. I will hook the transverter up to the tvtr rx socket to test it on receive - it's just a cheap single feed tvtr for 4m which I want to hook up with my Anan 7000 this holiday to see what beacons I can hear from the new qth. If I decide to get back on 4m seriously I will buy another Kuhn tvtr with split tx and rx feeds.

i presume the board you have is the Orion II board??

I have the schematics, if you want them,basically u need a micro coax jumper jumper between j32 and J31

this will allow use of the transverter port rx/tx, as you want , using the single connector.

I use separate ports for my transverters so i did separate mine, its pretty fresh in my mind.

Be extremely careful with the micro push on connectors, you can easily damage them.
