Hi everyone.
Just not related only to 2.10.2, but I noted that the S-meters seem don't take care of transverter gain set on XVTRs settings:
I have S7 when transverter is ON and S5 when it is OFF. When Thetis is switchwd OFF the S-meter is displaying S3.
Is it possible to display the signal strenght as it is coming from antenna and not as it is on Anan 7000DLE MKII XVTR input?
Many thanks and 73s,
Maurizio I2NOY

@I2NOY S-untis are shifted by 20db when >= 30MHz so -93dBm will show S9.I have just made some changes to MultiMeters so when they are zeroed they always bottom out at S0 when power is off, ie -153dBm when >= 30MHz. Previously they were getting set to -133dBm irrespective of frequency above/bellow 30MHz.
The xvtr gain does exactly what you expect with reference to the antenna signal. Example, if you are getting a -93dBm signal at the antenna (before masthead amp) and your masthead amp gives 20dB of gain with a Thetis xvtr gain of 0, you would see S9+20dB with a dBm of -73. If you give your xvtr config 20dB gain, then you would see an S9 in Thetis and -93dBm as per the antenna.

Dear Richie,
Thank you for the pre-release.
Here situation remains the same and my PC still do not register the changes
despite asking to save and overwrite the TX profile.
and new changes are not stored.
I know it should not happen as others have reported that their issue is now resolved.
if you need I can post a video. Pictures are attached below for the process I have adopted.
Last picture is after restarting the Thetis.
Thank you

yes please, and send me a copy of your database.xml and ErrorLog.txt from inside C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR\Thetis-x64
Do not use DB export button, just shut Thetis down, and send me the files from the location above. Email over on qrz.
Cheers.

Resolved via email, but after some head scratching, the VAC was turning back on, even though the profile was stored with it off, because of the 'Auto Enable' setting 'Enabled for digital modes, disable for all others'. As a side note, this setting is actually stored against the profile as well. Confusing all around

Hi Richie,
Not sure where the best place to add a feature request, but I would like to formally request that the PortAudio library be updated to a more modern version, specifically to add support for WASAPI, both shared and exclusive modes.
WASAPI has the potential to bring lower latency VAC options to operators without having to resort to ASIO, and to allow for greater flexibility.
With WASAPI I am able to run a Ringbuffer of 12ms and a PortAudio buffer of 0ms, using a motherboard sound card.
Older MME or DirectSound require at minimum 500% longer ringbuffers and around 55ms minimum PortAudio buffer.
