Many of the recent posts, like those associated with TX monitor, are associated with the functionality of piHPSDR. These issues transcend the hardware, i.e. they are specific to piHPSDR regardless of what hardware it is associated with, from the G2 to the earliest Hermes designs. I'd encourage people to post piHPSDR questions in the piHPSDR forum rather than here. That way future piHPSDR users will be able to more easily find answers to questions they might have.

Scott - yes I agree. Little of this thread has anything to do with microphones.
For Thetis, G-2 takes microphone audio and sends it to Thetis; it takes speaker audio from Thetis and sends it to the speakers. It is not involved in where that speaker audio comes from. So I suspect the monitor issues are a Thetis issue not a G2 issue.
Monitor in piHPSDR - I don't know the answer to that.

seems this topic has kinda been hijacked onto other things. should receive my G2 (no screen) next week, im kinda sketchy on the 3.5 mic hookup! my first adventure into the Anan world, been on a flex for last 3 years

The microphone connections are described in the manual.
