Power SDR fails to run

Post by GW0DQW »

HI there,

All of a sudden I have an issue with Power SDR failing to run.
I am using Win10 as always and yesterday loaded up Power sdr and the screen came on ok but after about 5 seconds before I can switch on the software the software closes down.

All version shave worked on this laptop for last 3/4 years with no issues at all , I am /was using the latest version of Power SDR 3.4.9.0 since it came out.
When the screen fails it doesn't lock up the laptop or anything.
I removed the current installation with a view of installing the software again which I did and the same thing happened again, now I am at a loss as I cannot use my Anan100 at all.

Anybody please give any hints or tips on how to cure this issue please.

I also had the issue out of the blue in the past week. My solution was to delete the database file and then PSDR would launch, then I imported by backup.

Well I say out of the blue, but I was messing around with VAC settings when the issue came up, and it happened several times. Once I stopped messing with VAC settings I have not had the issue again.

That is good news, no idea on my end why it happened either. Were you doing anything with the VAC or anything else?
